Vintage Handwoven Willow Gathering Basket with Twisted Handle – 15" Farmhouse Basket

The kind of basket you grab on the way out to the garden. This handwoven willow gathering basket has a rounded belly, a sturdy woven base, and a tall twisted willow handle. The warm honey-brown color and slightly open weave give it that collected, old-farmhouse look that's hard to find in new baskets.

Details

• Handwoven natural willow (wicker)
• Tall twisted overhead handle
• Rounded, bulb-shaped body with a sturdy woven base
• Size: approx. 15" H (including handle) x 10" diameter

Condition

Pre-owned vintage condition. Sturdy and still holds its shape well. As expected with older willow, there are some loose or sprung weaver ends, a few small breaks in the strands, light flecks of white paint in spots, and dust and natural darkening inside. The handle is secure. Please see photos for exact condition.
