Antique Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Brooch

This is an antique Art Nouveau piece. It is made of sterling silver. The design is an open-work, symmetrical oval featuring elaborate repoussé (raised) irises with accompanying leaves and flowing, organic lines typical of the Art Nouveau period. The silver is tarnished, which adds to its antique appearance. It has a pin closure on the back for fastening. 2" x 2"
