Vintage Canadian Crown Glass Fruit Jar with Glass Lid – c. 1930s–40s

This is a wonderful vintage Canadian preserving jar featuring the iconic embossed Crown design with crown-and-cross motif. Made in Canada, the clear glass jar retains its separate glass sealing lid and aged metal screw band. The jar has wonderful authentic character, including bubbles, mold variations and age-related wear that make early utilitarian glass so appealing.

Originally designed for home canning and preserving, today it makes a beautiful collectible kitchen piece. Perfect for farmhouse, primitive or European-inspired décor, it could also be displayed with dried flowers, kitchen utensils or simply as part of a collection of antique jars.
