A beautiful vintage mahogany pedestal table transformed into a one-of-a-kind piece of functional art.

This elegant table features a solid mahogany base with a beautifully shaped, scalloped top and protective glass top insert. The base has been hand painted in Annie Sloan Athenian Black Chalk Paint, while the top is finished in the rich, dramatic Satin Knightsbridge.

The tabletop is adorned with the romantic Iron Orchid Designs (IOD) Joie des Roses Transfer, featuring lush antique-inspired roses, delicate blossoms, fruit, foliage, a songbird and butterfly. The deep jewel-toned background paired with the black carved pedestal creates a wonderfully moody English-country look.

The original ornate details—including the pierced scalloped gallery edge, fluted pedestal and gracefully curved feet—give this piece beautiful vintage character.

Condition: Excellent upcycled vintage condition. There is minor cosmetic chipping along portions of the decorative scalloped edge, consistent with the age of the piece and visible in the photos. It does not detract from the overall beauty or function of the table.

Because this is a vintage piece that has been individually refinished by hand, age-related character and subtle variations are part of what makes it completely unique.
