Paul Uhl Signed Pottery Flower Frog

This handmade studio pottery flower frog consists of an integrated ceramic bowl shaped like a flared, four-sided square funnel with a soft green glaze. The edges feature raised decorative clay beads and exposed unglazed brown stoneware detailing along the rim. Secured tightly inside the center of the deep basin sits a dark, circular metal pin kenzan designed to hold floral stems. The entire vessel rests elevated on a sturdy, cylindrical ceramic ring base that elevates the wide, architectural bowl above the tabletop.
