Vintage Architectural Leaded Glass Window Sidelight (44.5" x 16")
Product Overview
Incorporate a stunning element of historic character into your home or shop with this beautiful vintage architectural leaded glass window. Originally built as a door sidelight or slender transom accent, this narrow panel features a classic geometric layout with long vertical glass columns flanked by traditional diamond-lattice motifs at the top and bottom. The frosted translucent glass provides a wonderful layer of privacy while still letting natural light stream through softly.
Housed in its original solid wood frame with a dark, naturally aged brown finish, this piece highlights authentic architectural salvage character. Measuring a substantial 44.5 inches tall by 16 inches wide with a slim 1-inch depth, its narrow profile is incredibly versatile. It is an excellent choice for modern rustic home renovations, custom pantry doors, wall dividers, or hanging as a standalone sun-catcher focal point in a window frame.
Key Features
  • Architectural Salvage Charm: An authentic vintage leaded glass window panel originally utilized as an elegant home entry sidelight.
  • Geometric Leaded Lattice: Features crisp, clean soldering with a vertical column design anchored by diamond patterns at both ends.
  • Translucent Privacy Glass: Fitted with textured frosted glass panels that beautifully diffuse light while maintaining privacy.
  • Proportional Scaling: Perfectly sized at 44.5" H x 16" W x 1" D, ideal for tight vertical accent spaces or narrow wall displays.
  • Original Solid Wood Frame: Set inside its sturdy, authentic dark wood frame with historic scuffs and paint remnants that prove its age.
  • Versatile Decor Layout: Can be mounted vertically next to doorways, hung horizontally as a unique transom, or integrated into a custom furniture build.
Condition & Care
This window is in structural, solid antique condition. The wood frame is tight and holds the glass firmly, and the lead soldering remains strong. The glass shows a fracture split on the left-center pane (as pictured), which does not affect the structural stability of the window pane. To preserve the finish, clean the glass with a mild, ammonia-free glass cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth; avoid heavy pressure against the lead lines.
