Sarah Coventry Heart Necklace

This necklace is a vintage piece produced by the well-known costume jewelry brand Sarah Coventry. It is a specific and popular design within their line, often referred to as the "Millefiori Heart" necklace. The necklace features a gold-toned, twisted rope chain that supports an open heart-shaped pendant with a matching twisted-rope border. Within the center of the heart frame is a colorful art glass cabochon, known as millefiori glass, which means "thousand flowers" in Italian, giving it the mottled appearance of various colors including reds, blues, and whites. A small, dangling faux pearl accent hangs from the bottom of the heart motif. The piece is signed  "Sarah" on the back of the pendant. These vintage pieces were popular in the 1970s and were originally sold through home parties.
