This bottle features the historic embossed warning around the upper shoulder: "FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE OR REUSE OF THIS BOTTLE." This phrase was legally mandated by the U.S. government on all liquor bottles manufactured between 1935 and 1964 to help combat bootlegging and illegal moonshining following the repeal of Prohibition.
The bottle features elegant vertical ribbing along the upper shoulder and lower base, an embossed "4/5 QUART" capacity mark near the bottom, and a threaded screw-top lip. It is a fantastic conversation starter for a home bar, a rustic vase, or a unique window display piece that beautifully catches daylight.
