Oh my goodness, friends... this is HUGE!!! We’re hosting Tristan Merriam at The Mustard Seed Collection... yes, the BBC star from Money for Nothing, an Annie Sloan Brand Ambassador, and truly one of those people who makes you go... okay wow, this guy is the real deal.
On BBC’s Money for Nothing, Tristan is known for rescuing discarded pieces from recycling centers and using his expert painting and upcycling skills to transform them into beautiful, high-end, valuable furniture and decor. Which honestly... is right up our alley here. Taking something overlooked and turning it into something special? I LOVE that.
He’s also the creative force behind Doghead Designs... a name inspired by his dachshund Gatsby and his former career as a headteacher. Even crazier? He only fell in love with painting 7 years ago after his wife booked him on a workshop. Now he has built an international reputation teaching "The Joy of Painting" all over the globe, serves as a Painter in Residence, and was recently featured on the cover of Annie Sloan’s publication. I mean... that’s kind of amazing, right?

This is an all-inclusive 2-day Masterclass and honestly... it is going to be SUCH a creative spark kind of weekend. You get hands-on instruction from Tristan Merriam with a focus on advanced techniques, plus all materials, brushes, and tools are included... which is amazing because you can just show up ready to learn and PLAY.
You also get food, drinks, and snacks for both days... all the inclusiveness is built right in, which I LOVE... and if you know me, you know I love when the details are handled so you can stay in that inspired, paint-splattered, idea-filled zone. Tristan will be teaching those elevated finishes that take painted furniture from pretty to absolutely stunning, and it’s such a fun chance to stretch your creativity and try something new.
